Terms of Use

image.photo is an on-the-fly image generation API service for developers. The service allows creating placeholder images, mockups, QR codes and other test images via simple URLs, without registration or authentication. This service is provided by GIANTZ SAS under the brand PWS - Pixels Web Services.

The API is freely accessible without limitations for reasonable use. We reserve the right to limit or block access in case of abusive use (excessive requests, malicious use, etc.).

Users agree to:

• Use the service only for development and testing purposes
• Not generate illegal, offensive or inappropriate content
• Not attempt to overload or compromise the service infrastructure
• Respect technical limits (5000x5000px maximum per image)
• Not use the service for large-scale commercial hotlinking without permission
• Not attempt to bypass any security measures or access restrictions

Images generated via the API are royalty-free and can be used without restriction for both commercial and non-commercial purposes. The source code and the image.photo brand remain the exclusive property of GIANTZ SAS.

The service does not collect any personal data when using the public API. Server logs may record IP addresses for security and monitoring purposes, in compliance with GDPR. These logs are automatically deleted after 30 days.

We strive to maintain maximum service availability, but cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation. The service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We may perform maintenance or updates that could temporarily affect service availability.

GIANTZ SAS cannot be held liable for direct or indirect damages resulting from the use or inability to use the image.photo service. This includes, but is not limited to, loss of data, loss of profit, business interruption, or any other commercial damages or losses.

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes take effect immediately upon publication on this page. Continued use of the service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

Generated images are cached to optimize performance. Users accept that their generated images may be temporarily stored on our servers and partner CDNs. Cache duration is typically 24 hours but may vary based on usage patterns.

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to our service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms of Use.

These terms are governed by French law. Any dispute relating to their interpretation or execution falls under the exclusive jurisdiction of French courts. In the event of any discrepancy between translations, the French version shall prevail.
